For the longest time, camomile tea is definitely an all-time classic favorite, and that’s not only because of its floral aroma and taste that is compared to crisp green apples (yum!).  Camomile tea is also used as a traditional folk remedy given its promising health results.

When drinking camomile tea, you should keep its potential benefits into consideration:

Reducing menstrual pain

Helping with sleep and relaxation

Slowing or preventing ostreoperosis

Osteoporosis is more common among post-menstrual women due to the effects of estrogen and is the progressive loss of bone density. In 2004, a study found that chamomile tea might have anti-estrogenic effects. It also helped promote bone density.

Reducing inflammation

Inflammation is an immune system reaction to fight infection. Chamomile tea contains chemical compounds that may reduce inflammation.

Treating mild skin conditions

A small 1987 study found that applying chamomile extract directly to a wound assisted healing. Likewise, a few studies have found that chamomile ointments may help with eczema and mild inflammatory skin conditions
